IGB research portfolio is broad spanning most areas at the intersection of the computational and biomedical sciences, including in particular:

  • Structural biology, chemoinformatics, and drug design and discovery.
  • Systems biology with particular emphases on neuroscience, computational neuroscience, cognitive neuroepigenetics, development, epigenetics and metabolism, circadian rhythms.
  • Diseases and disorders (mental disorders, infectious diseases, cancer) and translational applications, as well as medical Informatics (electronic medical records, clinical time series).
